Julian Treasure is a leading sound and communication expert and a renowned TED speaker. He is the author of two books: How to be Heard: Secrets for Powerful Speaking and Listening and Sound Business. Five of his TED talks have been watched more than 100 million times, and his talk on 'How to speak so that people want to listen' is in the top 10 TED talks of all time. Julian has also launched his online course on 'How To Speak So That People Want To Listen.' His work has been featured in leading world media, including TIME, The Economist, The Times, Oprah’s O Magazine, and many international TV, radio stations and podcasts.

Julian’s love of sound stems from his early experience as a Musician. He was a drummer for several indie rock bands, including The Transmitters, Fish Turned Human, and Missing Presumed Dead. He has founded The Sound Agency, an audio branding company, and Moodsonic®, a range of biophilic soundscapes to enhance wellbeing and productivity in workspaces, making headlines internationally and helping companies to listen better for over a decade.
