Healing Our Divisions: A Journey of Transformation

With Matthew Stevenson

Investment Analyst. Featured by Goldman Sachs. Columbia Business School Graduate.

Through love, respect and understanding, Matthew, an Orthodox Jew, was able to transform the white supremacist views of Derek Black, the heir apparent to the white nationalist movement and godson of David Duke, the former grand wizard of the KKK. This incredible journey of human connection and transformation - across "enemy" lines - is covered in the book Rising Out of Hatred: The Awakening of a Former White Nationalist by Pulitzer prize-winning reporter Eli Saslow.

Mathew graduated from the New College of Florida, the state's honors college, with degrees in mathematics and economics. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and currently works as an investment analyst at T. Rowe Price.
